Terms & Conditions
- Our Contract
All bookings are made with Botanas Travel Turizm Ticaret Ltd. Şti., trading as Botanas Travel – Türkiye & Beyond (hereinafter referred to as “Botanas Travel”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By making a booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions, which constitute the entire agreement between you and Botanas Travel. The services to be provided are those confirmed in your booking confirmation and/or invoice.
A Client (“you”) refers to all persons named on the booking.
A Product refers to any travel service sold by Botanas Travel, including but not limited to tours, accommodation, transportation, and related services.
A contract comes into existence once we confirm your booking in writing.
The person making the booking confirms that they have full authority to do so on behalf of all travelers and that all travelers are aware of and accept these Terms & Conditions.
We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.
- Pricing & Currency Policy
Prices are based on current costs and exchange rates at the time of quotation.
Due to market conditions, most services are priced in EUR. Currency fluctuations, changes in taxes, fuel costs, government regulations, or supplier costs may result in price adjustments prior to confirmation.
Credit card payments are accepted in Turkish Lira (TRY). The payable TRY amount is calculated using the official exchange rate on the date of transaction. Botanas Travel is not responsible for exchange rate differences or bank charges applied by financial institutions.
Any discounts or promotional offers introduced after a booking is confirmed will not apply retroactively.
- Deposits & Payments
- Group Tours / FIT / Private Tours: A deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance must be paid no later than 42 days prior to departure.
- Bookings made within 42 days of departure: Full payment is required at the time of booking.
- Special services (hotels, cruises, flights, gulets): May require higher or non-refundable deposits depending on supplier conditions.
Failure to complete payments on time may result in cancellation.
- Child Policy
- Children must travel with a parent or legal guardian.
- Child discounts, if applicable, apply only to the main tour and not to extras such as transfers or additional nights.
- Child discount eligibility depends on room-sharing conditions and tour type.
- Child discounts cannot be combined with other offers.
- Airport Transfers
Airport transfers are provided only when included in the confirmed itinerary and apply exclusively to the listed tour hotels.
Full flight details must be provided at least 48 hours prior to arrival. Failure to do so may result in the loss of transfer services.
- Luggage
Clients are responsible for their luggage at all times.
Domestic flights may have luggage limits. Any excess baggage fees are the responsibility of the client.
- Free Time
During designated free time, clients are responsible for their own activities. Botanas Travel accepts no liability for incidents occurring during free time.
- Inclusions & Exclusions
Tour prices include only the services explicitly listed in the confirmed itinerary.
Any service not mentioned is excluded, including but not limited to:
- International flights (unless specified)
- Visas
- Insurance
- Personal expenses
- Tips and gratuities
- Optional activities
- Amendments & Cancellations by the Client
Cancellation fees apply based on the number of days prior to departure and supplier conditions. Written notice is required.
No refunds are provided for partially used services or discounted promotional bookings.
Amendments after confirmation may incur administrative fees and are subject to availability.
- Cancellations by Botanas Travel
Botanas Travel reserves the right to cancel a tour due to insufficient participation or force majeure events, including natural disasters, political instability, or circumstances beyond our control.
In such cases, clients may be offered an alternative or a refund of amounts paid for unused services.
- Changes to Itinerary & Hotels
We reserve the right to modify itineraries or substitute hotels with equivalent or higher-standard alternatives when necessary due to operational reasons.
Such changes do not entitle clients to refunds.
- Travel Documents & Insurance
Clients are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, and required travel documents.
Travel insurance covering medical expenses, cancellation, and personal belongings is strongly recommended.
- Health, Safety & Conduct
Clients must ensure they are medically fit to travel. Any medical conditions must be disclosed at booking.
We reserve the right to refuse service to any client whose conduct affects the safety or enjoyment of others.
- Liability
Botanas Travel acts as an intermediary between clients and service providers and is not liable for acts or omissions of third-party suppliers.
Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
- Photography & Marketing
Botanas Travel reserves the right to use photographs or videos taken during tours for marketing purposes unless otherwise requested in writing.
- Personal Data
Client data is handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and used solely for operational and marketing purposes unless otherwise requested.
- Complaints
Any complaints must be raised immediately during the tour so that corrective action may be taken. Written complaints must be submitted within 90 days of tour completion.
- Governing Law
All bookings are governed by Turkish Law, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Turkish courts.
